About the production

E ve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues, is an episodic compilation of poetry and short stories. Originally performed in New York at HERE Arts Center in 1996, the production moved to the Off-Broadway Westside Theatre in New York City. Since then, this critically acclaimed play has been performed hundreds of times around the world in several languages. In 2006, The New York Times called the play “probably the most important piece of political theater in the last decade.” This creative and provocative discussion of female genitalia causes audiences to face the societal consequences of misogyny and female oppression world-wide. Culture Collective will offer this unique experience in both English and Thai, four performances each. Each performance features a different cast. A must see.
